My Story

As a husband and father to 3 children, I understand the importance of giving and receiving love and affection. Understanding our purpose in life helps us achieve the goals and dreams we desire for ourselves. I know this because throughout my life, I have met and exceeded my goals and dreams. I was raised in poverty with a weak father figure.

As a child, I experienced abuse, was molested for years, and was emotionally deserted. I overcame my experiences and learned that I am more than a product of my circumstances. I always dreamed of serving in the military so when I reached the legal age, I did just that. As an adult I served as a non-commissioned officer in the military for over 10 years, with 2 combat tours. Deciding to leave the Army, with an honorable discharge, I changed my career path. Reintegrating into civilian life from soldier life was not easy. I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology in 2021. I will be graduating with my Master of Social Work in 2023.

The Norris Foundation

A 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization

Welcome to The Norris Foundation, where strong families are built through peace, connection, and intentional growth. Rooted on our 15-acre farm, we create transformative experiences that help individuals and families slow down, regulate stress, and lead with clarity. Through life coaching, counseling, and guided group experiences, we equip families with practical tools to communicate more effectively and transparently, fostering trust and emotional safety. We believe vulnerability and weakness are not failures, but opportunities for growth, healing, and deeper connection. Our programs integrate education, spiritual development, and meaningful engagement with nature to create lasting change. Here, families learn to cultivate peace, embrace growth, and build resilient relationships together.
